Hey everyone!

This version is a pretty special one, as it marks the point where every encounters and story beats I planned for are finally in the game.

So this officially makes it our first beta version!

It's been a long road, not gonna lie. Can't say that it hasn't been without it's hurdles too, but I'm still really determined to push this game to the end.

Features:

First beta version!

The game now contains 240k words, and has every encounter planned for the final release.

Reworked the Slime encounter from scratch (with huge help from Myst <3)

-Starts as a basic slime, but its potential can be awakened...

-Torgar now has an option to sell you a "slimey blob"

SPOILERS ON NEW ENCOUNTER FEATURES START HERE

-Once evolved into Leviathan, he can be strengthened further to reach a stronger Beast form.

-Leviathan has the "Sand Dive" move (Reduces incoming damage by 95% for 1 seconds.)

-From there, he can reach a perfect pure or corrupted form and join you as a teammate.

-Leviathan learns "Leviathan's Protection" move in his purity path (Reduces incoming damage of your teammate by 20% for 2 seconds.)

-Leviathan learns "Leviathan's Corruption" move in his Corruption path (Heals your teammate for 10% of their corruption as health.)

SPOILERS ON NEW ENCOUNTER FEATURES END HERE

-Every damage mitigation moves now show how much damage is reduced when taking a hit.

-Different damage mitigations can now be stacked.

-Disabled the Save and Options menus during combat.

-Shelving the Lost Entity encounter from the eastern Barrens. (It was stuck in a awkward state where their stats couldn't be persistent, unlike every other encounters. Plus a lot of its ideas were repurposed into other parts of the game. Not quite sure what to do with this one.)

Bugfixes:

Fixed display issues of hp and damage values showing lot of decimals after blocking.

This version is NOT compatible with saves from 0.10.5, but you can restart the game with your Essence, Achievements, and Exp from older saves.
