Sneak peek!

Hey hey, I wanted to share a little sneak peek of what I`m working on since this project is so new.

I'm committing to a  completely new cel-shaded artstyle for the game.

I fits well with "Playable Growth Comic" dream I want to pull off, and it makes everything run a lot better!

With these changes, I can run the game at 60FPS on Steam Deck (From 8FPS).

Anyway, just wanted to share some progress.
Have a nice day!

the awesome unreal realism look was the only reason I cared about the project.
now that looks bad too.
the style makes me take the game even less seriously.

that being said, you have a ton of screenshots of this one guy. im not really interested in either of the protagonists. are there any cool monsters in the open world that we can fuck that might look better? if so please remember to add them to the game screenshots.
I hope there will be ferals.

Another great comment for the special drawer.

so, at first I held off on responding because I wanted to actually try the project first. no, my feedback is pretty valid.

the hyper realistic style present in build 5 is nothing short of fucking awesome. as a 3D artist and gamedev vet im extremely picky and not easily impressed, but you used unreal well, and that puts you at a cut above most games even to start with.

im not an inflation fetishist, I play these games for regular sex porn.
I walked in expecting very little. however, on growing our creature, it was easy to get into. even I can appreciate both the cool tech and him growing.

I think this project will go very well, I have some mild feedback.
the users base seems a little walking simulator-ish. should probably provide options to warp to surface/buy crystals from the pause menu.
nothing in the game is interactable. cant pet our creature, cant interact with the map, cant talk, etc. planetscape is neat, I wish it wasnt time based, even though the mechanic seems neat in concept, I dont see it as anything more than a barrier to play. it would be nice if small/large slimes grapple was more lewd, that it would not gameover the player to facilitate this, and that there would be more scenes to enjoy with our creature. I was suprised to find out that he didnt deploy with us on planet.

generally: make your creatures and environment interactive. make things react to the player, give things an interaction press, and, since this IS an adult title, let the player have adult fun where they would expect to. (make all the monsters grappleable, etc.)

some tutorial content would go far. dont make it intrusive.

just giving you honest feedback from an honest user.

you may not like my opinion but there are plenty of people who might enjoy the game if there were other interesting critters, like your textgame.

I think something that could be of benefit to the game, both at the start and for a larger feeling of progression (I realize this is very early and might be simply for getting things out there.) but to grow our big guy from something smaller, and start with time crystals taking less essence, since essence gathering scales with his size. Plus it's weird to be stealing his essence only to give it to him without any visual reversal effects or be the way to gain your first ways into the main areas of the game. Food for thought.

I'm loving this, can't wait to see what you do next with this and the dungeons.  The one problem I'm having is I can't start over.  I'll delete the saves and the progress remains.  Also, does empower have a limit?  I got to eight and it went to 0 and I can't progress any further.  One more thing, could you add a toggle/hold option for sprinting in options?  Love what you are doing! <3

Will do!

looks good. im going blind so graphic are less of a concern to me but im looking forward to this games growth tell i cant play anymore

I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope that your condition is forgiving with the time it gives you, whatever it may be.

a few yearslong enough to get threw a few games but not long enough to get to see what my sister's kids would look like as adults

It looks good, although I get the feeling it needs some refinement. I hope the performance improvement comes soon; with the current graphics settings, my PC can barely handle it (even though it's a pretty decent machine).
